This project is rather easy to explain. I'm part of several forums on the web, forums which are communities mainly. One of those is
Humhum - an access-restricted platform made by
pea and
sans.
Crowds of people from all over the world post thousands of messages every day. To visualize where all those people are from I built the
Yay Hooray! Worldmap. This
map is just adapted, but different to the one for Yay Hooray! it gathers its members from the forum's database. Makes sense since it is access-restricted itself. All the special features are only available to logged-in members.
